SciFi and Fantasy Art: RQS In Flight

Two RQS fighters fly side by side on a quiet patrol. Note the two different varients of the RQS here, one featuring twin atmospheric engines on either side of the fuselage and additional laser cannons on the wing tips while the other has only a single atmospheric engine beneath the fuselage and additional thrust pods on each wing.

After creating the Wasp Class Carrier (as seen in Lone Adventurer) I decided that I had better make some fighters for it to use. I have been drawing pictures of the RQS for years (in fact, the RQS was probably about the third or fourth ship I designed for C69 back when I started work on it in 1994 - not much has changed about the design) so it made sense that this would be the first fighter I would attempt to create in CGI.
